Earlier this month I was in Dallas, TX for the annual CTMH Convention. It was my first year going to this event and the most fun I've had in years! We learned about all the new products that will be available August 1st and some great new techniques. The color palette has condensed from 60 colors to 40 with 6 new colors Saddle, Slate, Whisper, Cashmere, Champagne, and Ruby. In addition to our already awesome ink pads we now have pigment based inks that offer intensely vibrant color and are specially formulated for projects that will be out in the open, like home décor projects. That’s because pigment ink is super colorfast and light safe. It’s one of the best archival solutions around. You’ll get a stacked tower of 10 colors for just $19.95. We have new marker sets! That's right, 2 markers in each set. One is the color that matches the ink pad and the other is either a shade lighter or a shade darker. They have alcohol-based ink for better blending and smoother color. We even offer a new alcohol blending pen to help you blend with ease. Also, Studio J memberships are going away and everyone now has access to all the fabulous patterns and kits for free! Instead of a 2 page layout costing $13.00 and only getting jpg's with purchase of layouts you now pay only $6.95 for a 2 page layout with a free jpg or you can purchase jpg's stand alone for $2.95 each. A jpg includes one 2 page layout. Thats not all though... Studio J has an awesome new addition—the new Studio J Express Collections!
